Above is a really good article about dust bunnies and Dslr sensors.
It is not a hard proceedure at all or if you do not want to tackle it, your local Canon Service Centre should be able to do it while you wait.

Not only does it look like a dust spot, but it looks like a typical one.

You generally see them with a bright sky and the aperture closed down.
