New to the Forum and just bought a Canon A630. I am trying to learn all I can about the camera and had a question about image storage. I have not noticed anything in the manuals yet about being able to store pics in an emailable size like 640x480. My pics are stored at about 2.4 mb. I know I can resize in the sofrware that came with the camera but also need to know if I can set the camera at 640x480.

I might add that it is a great camera.

You can set it to capture images at 640x480 - that'd be "Small" image size. But I'd suggest that instead you learn to resize the large images you're currently set up for. A 640x480 picture may email nicely, but it won't print well at much over 4" x 3". If you're using Windows, the easiest way to resize them is to right-click on the picture (or select multiple pictures and right-click) and choose "Send to", then "Mail Recipient". It'll ask if you want to make the image smaller or leave it the same size. Choose (the default) of "Make it smaller" and it'll open your e-mail program composing a letter with the file(s) attached.
