I recently read that you can shoot decent infrared pictures with the D30 if you have a Hoya R72 filter. I was wondering if anyone has done this and has any suggestions on any other filters or techniques to use while doing this. I realize that the D30's CMOS chip is not as good for this as the G1's CCD, but with that aside I was wondering if there were any other ups or downsides to using a D30.
