Hi i have a Canon A520 camera and i am wondering what is the maximum speed of SD card i should use, cause it seem that with a 12x the delai between each shoot is to long and with the rapid fire shots is longer then the 1.9 pic./secon suppose to be optain.

thank you

What shutter speeds are you at when trying to shoot bursts? Are you using flash? Slow shutter speeds, or waiting for the flash to get recharged, may slow down the shooting rate.

Jon i dont realy know the speed cause i am at the auto mode and no i don't turn on the flash i know that it slow down the process,
my question is mostly if a faster SD card could better the speed between each shoot at the regular mode.
and as we are there loll is there a shutter speed that is better for the burst mode?

The shutter speed in use should be in each file's EXIF data. You'd need a shutter speed of at least 1/100 sec to let the camera run full out. And if you're shooting a moving subject, the camera may be having trouble focussing between shots. Try manual focus and manual ISO/shutter/aperture settings on a stationary object (outdoors in good light) to see what the card can do under ideal (which Canon rates this under) conditions.
