I don't feel much with this photo. I think a big part of photography is not only capturing an image well (sharpness, color, composition, etc) but capturing an image that is interesting or eye-catching.
I don't see anything in this photo like that. What are we to notice? My eye saw the boat then bounced around looking for a point of interest to focus on.
Sorry, just not feeling it with this one...

Based on the histogram, the exposure seems to be right on and the rendering in this image seems to be quite correct.
The lighting in the scene is also to your advantage in that the subject is well lighted, while other portions of the image are more subdued.
The composition is, in my opinion, too centered and too tightly cropped. There should be a placement of the main subject, the primary canal boat, closer to the intersections of the 1/3 dividing lines, and more of the scene should have been included in order to avoid the cropping of the canal house.
It is also noted that there seems to be some distortion of the house in that its roof is not horizontal, and it seems to tilt downward to the right. I don't understand why that should be, because the camera seems to be properly pointed (in the up and down and roll sense).
