Adobe says, "Green pixel balancing and crosshatch noise reduction are improved..."
Has anyone run any tests? I was suprised at the number of people that claimed PSCS CR created more noise than other raw conversion programs. I guess if Adobe has made an attempt to improve it, maybe it was noisier.

I just ran the new raw update today for the first time,. I didn't "measurebait" anything.. just used it as allways,. well it didn't seem any different at all to me.

Did you think PSCS CR was noisier than other raw converters?

Same-same as CDS. I haven't seen any difference. I just did the upgrade because in the past to apply a future Adobe upgrade you need to have the previous upgrade installed (like need 7.01 to install the original ACR).

However, having downloaded the upgrade I find that it's just replacing an .8bi file. Go figure...
