LCD on P.S. SD550 not showing

Please help. My LCD monitor on my power shot SD 550 suddenly stopped working. I can't view the menu or playback pictures or anything. The Canon tech support had no help. Does anybody here have any suggestions? The camera is actually taking pictures, but I can't see them or see any functions. Thanks! Beth

Is it under warranty? If it's still taking pictures it's just something with the LCD. Test it by hooking it up to a TV; that should function just like the LCD and may help localize things.

I figured it out. I remembered that the last thing that I had done with the camera was watch video through the TV. So I re-hooked up the cables to the TV. Everything looked normal. Then I turned off the camera, removed the cables, and checked the camera. It's fine again.
