I like the lighter background on the first one.

i like the lighter background as well.. in the third shot i would mask out the flower and make the entire backround black as well. great macro shots though

yeah kind to think of it I do agree that the lighter background brings it more life.

Ditto on the lighter background. A thought ... try "painting" the flowers using Photoshop or especially Corel Painter.

the first is geometrically beautiful. great lines. i'd crop a bit off the top and a bit more off the right. great capture.
