EOS REBEL DIGITAL QUESTION

I am getting my rebel in the next few days [shipping now]. Before I get my camera running, is there anything I should do first?

Besides charge the battery and format the CF card?

Are there any software updates for canons software I should get? Or anything like that?

I'd check Canon's web site for the latest firmware, but my guess would be that your camera will have the latest already installed.

I suspect that you're anxious to get it - I was with my 10D (heck, I was anxious last year when I bought a used Elan II!)

I cant friggin wait to get this, especially that spring is coming and I have access to an awesome photo printer that prints 24" X 36". Not that I'll ever print that size, but I cant wait to print some big prints to test this puppy out.
