Apart from the sky, which i'm not sure you could improve really, I like it!
I love the lines leading in, love the crop too. Ok so the snow is a dirty white, the shot on the whole has a colour cast but that may be my monitor.
Welcome to the forums and Merry Christmas !

Curious, but is this a scan from a negative or a print?

The noise had me concerned. Plus their is a dot just above the power line alinged with the track. The sky looks fuzzy to me.

Change the image to a black and white, maybe? I fooled around with this for a minute or so, ran Noiseware Pro on it, and although I ended up with some artifacts, maybe an interesting improvement?

Hope you don't mind me trying something out with your image. If so, let me know, and I'll remove it.

Argh... my eyes are burning! Okay, maybe not. Just kidding... just a touch of snow-blindness.
A lot of the detail is now gone. Is that what you were trying to achieve?

The snow is now to clean for new mexico. What I would like to do is clean the grainyness and leave the details.
I am new to all of this...

Do you have any kind of noise removal software, such as Noiseware or Noise Ninja, etc.? I took your original, ran Noiseware Pro on it, and adjusted the coloring a little to try and remove a greenish tint I was seeing.

Yup. It looks like the result I get from scanning one of my old negs that wasn't very well cared for. Also, there doesn't seem to be a lot of dynamic range, like it came from a inexpensive flatbed scanner ... or maybe the image was just overexposed wiping out some detail.
At least it looks like you can get a somewhat uesable image after you run it through some noise reduction software. :)
