installing actions

i just downloaded some new actions from the internet for cs2 and i cannot remember the correct path to follow to insert them into photoshop.

Do you remember where you downloaded them to? :)

If so, you'll want to move them to
Adobe
Photoshop
Presets
Photoshop Actions

Then, from photoshop, you just need to click on the carat on the right side of the action palatte. All actions in the folder should show up here.

This is in CS. I'm assuming it's the same for CS2.

ahh, i had installed them in the right spot but i was clicking on the actions tab instead....forgot i had to click on that little thing :)

:D It's those danged little things, isn't it? While I was poking around to make sure I was getting it right.... I closed the action palette and it took me a while to find it again. :rolleyes:
