Hey!

While looking for memory cards today, i ran across http://www.adorama.com/KGCF2GU.html. These kingston memory cards are going for $29 after a $20 mail in rebate, and apear to be high speed. As a computer technichian, I have learned to be leery of memory, and was wondering is if anyone has used these, and how reliable they are. From what i could tell, they seem to be new, and not many stores carried them. After searching the normal review sites, i came up with nothing, so any imput would be helpful!

Thanks alot!
Neill

I've used Kingston Pro's with 50/60X speed and one at 100X and found the speed to be exactly the same. So it may not be as fast as they claim. Never the less, it's always worked.

Alright, thanks alot! It looks like i will be purchasing 2 of these tomorrow morning allong with an xti.
This will be a huge investment for me (im a 17 yr old high school senior), and i want something reliable as well as cheap. I really don't want to be seen as one of the kiddies who asks "which camera should i get" blah blah blah. However, im sure ill have some questions once it arrives and i start taking pictures with it (theoretically i will be diving head first into raw and the "creative modes").

I'd like to thank everyone on this forum for all the help they have provided me and many others starting off with dslrs.

Merry Christmas!
