Love it! But what city is it?

The first one is the only one that appears to be a particularly long exposure, so am I safe in assuming you used a tripod for that shot and not the others? If so, those are some really nice hand-held shots with that Tamron lens! If not, then perhaps you used a filter in that first shot to get that starburst lighting effect rather than a long exposure?

winston salem, nc...... the first one was actually at 18 mm so it had to be my kit lense.....it was 5 seconds at f 22....the rest were the tam and all were on a tripod....glad you enjoyed the pics,....thanks....

I love these shots - they have a very "ethereal" quality. Two other things strike me: everything looks so clean that you could eat your dinner off the street (Europe has gone steeply downhill in this respect), and, the total lack of human beings (except for a car or two) gives the scenes a rather "spooky" look.

im thinking its the old RJ reynolds building ......they have lit it every year since i can remember...really looks nice at night....thanks for the kind words.....
