Still enjoying(?) the first half with daylight (just) and the second half dark...makes things interesting.

lol.........embedded or otherwise, some nice shots in there!! Looked a little dark towards the end of the game, but you seem to have adjusted well.

I agree with Paul, they do get a bit dark towards the end but the composition is great and there is a ball in all the images that count.

Im not sure why your pics aren't embedding. It depends how you are doing it and what Message Editor Inerface setting you have in your options in your User CP.
The easiest way is to click on the http://photography-on-the.net/forum/images/editor/insertimage.gif icon then paste the URL into the small window that opens making sure that you dont have 'http://' twice in the box.
Some very good pics there mate and I have to say I'm impressed with your website with all the info etc.

Well thanks for having the patience to look at some non imbedded shots!.....as I said I will try again at some point.
Some of the pics were a little dark but I was really struggling with the light towards the end of the match and having to underexpose a bit just to keep the speed up......its all a learning curve tho I guess.
Thanks
Nigel

I just embedded some no problem in a thread I just started. My Photobucket album will batch code all the URL's which I just pasted into my thread.
None of us stop learning. With my new 30D, I dont find it that hard now to correct images that are little dark. Like you, I have had to under expose a times to keep the speed up but have found that easier to correct than using too high an ISO.

Sorry still haven't got to grips with embedding images if anyone would like to enlighten me then please feel free!I'm admin at 2 different sites and quoting it and looking at your code it's because theres a tag in between the tag. I will quote a part of it adding a star so that you can see the tags used. I've used *'s in there so it doesn't show the code as it would ordinarily and therefore showing the code used...

If you wanted to do it without the insert image in the editor ( http://photography-on-the.net/forum/images/editor/insertimage.gif )
Then do as follows (excluding the *) [*IMG]http://image_link_here.com/image.jpg
Hope that helps.

Lisa, Im a mod on another site and I should have picked up on that. As I mentioned in my earlier post, things can depend on whch message editor you have set. If you use the Enhanced Interface Editor it doesnt show all the code if you go back to edit. I think he might be best using the Standard Editor. He can then see all the code so that he can edit it.

The WYSIWYG editor sucks IMO. I hate it because of the probs it causes most of the time adding extra lines and all in siggies
I stick to the BB code (standard) editor personally :)
