I just noticed that pictures taken with my S230 have a pinkish tint to them compared to pictures taken with my A300. Does anyone know what might cause this? Could it just be a bad processing job? Both were processed by Snapfish.

Are you using the auto white balance? If so, try setting it manually instead to suit the type of light you are shooting in.

Is the pink tint in all your processed prints, or just the ones where flash was used?

How do the images look when you view them on your monitor?

Also, what brand of paper is Snapfish using?

I only shoot in manual lately so i can adjust white balence.

mine was working fine till i had to replace the lens unit because i dropped it

so i think the ccd needs adjusting or something like that

o well i rarely use it because i almost only use my D30 and my G2

when you turn the camera on, the lens does not come out...

once the battery was recharged, it will turn on, and the lens will come out, making dreadful clicking sounds, and it will not focus... and as you use the zoom forward & back it will actually close the lens and cap cover as you go back out.

also in all this it will not focus!
