Hi. I am having huge troubles. Everytime I do a shoot, the images turn up noisy and out of focus. This is with me shooting at an ISO of 100 and on a tripod with a softbox and an umbrella lighting. I don't get it. It happens with both auto and manual focus. I am using the 20D with a 28-135 lens. It mainly happens when I shoot groups and have to be a ways back. should I be using my 50mm 1.8?
I have included this recent image and I hope it has the EXIF???? data. Some one told me that maybe I should get my lens calibrated? HELP ME.
Here is the file data.

1/200 sec.
Apt. value F8
Max Apt. value F3.5
Iso 100
Focal Length 30.0 mm
Lens 28-135 3.5-5.6 IS

It won't let me post a picture....they are having troubles with this website uploading I gues. trust me, it's noisy and out of focus.

I was having pretty much the same problem with the same lens. I sent it in to Canon (irvine) for calibration, (had a 10 day turn around) and it's been my walk around lens ever since. Here is a recent shot from that same lens.

did you send the camera with the lens or just the lens in?

you just send the lens...they have some extra camera's lying around they use to test :-)

I sent just the lens. After getting it back, I'd almost swear it was a different lens.
