Hi - I learned this cool trick from Scott Kelby's book so wanted to share it. you can increase your images to poster size without softening or bluring. And they look great. I've done it in PS CS so do not know if it works in earlier versions of PS, but probably.

Open your Image
Go to Image Menu
Image Size
Make sure resample image is checked
Change resample image interpolation method to bicubic smoother
Switch units of measurement pop up menus in the dialog from inches to percent - Type in 110%

You can create an Action to simplify the process when you need to repeat this several times with your image.

Fred Miranda's got a nice action for this for $15. It works pretty damn well. I'm not sure if his action does anything else along the way. If you have the $15 it's well worth it. http://www.fredmiranda.com/shopping/WPpro
