not one of the normal types I see, about 5mm. Stacked from 3 images - lighting a bit harsh but getting the hang of it.

Found a website with a key for ID which led me to Trichoniscus pusillus - Common Pygmy Woodlouse.

Excellent shot RM- think I get these types- the shell has nearly a tortoise shell effect on it. You seem to be getting the hang of focus stacking :)

Zman its rested on the stalk of a leaf amongst some leaf litter.

Really nice shot the stacking does give you a good depth of field.
Would you get the same depth with say F32 without stacking if you had enough light ?

My lens only goes to f16 but I guess the answer is yes but possibly with a loss of resolution as most macros perform best at around f8-13.
Sorry about the title - nothing unusual about these woodlice, common as muck!
