Took this photo at the Victoria Crystal Gardens. I like the pairing of the parrots and waterfalls.

Haven't been to through the Crystal Gardens in a long long time... :cry: I miss that whole area of Victoria (Empress, Crystal, Museum...) Naturally it's liklely changed a lot... Crystal Gardens used to be a swimming pool if I remember correctly.

Anyways the Birds are a tad over exposed and out of focus. I found myself paying more attention to the water fall (which is loverly.)

Perhaps another view putting the birds in front of the water fall?

The long shutter gave a nice waterfall but allowed the bird movement to show. Nice compasition.

the parrots being closer to the waterfall, and then the picture being more tightly cropped would have made this an excellent shot, however these circumstances, as luck would have it, are out of your direct control.

Other than that the focus is out a little, but it's still a very nice shot.

For me there is too much going on in this photo. It is almost like there are two photos. Like someone suggested it probably would have been better if the parrots were in front of the waterfall thus making a single stronger image.
Also I seldom like to see man made objects like feeding dishes etc. in a photo even if it is a photo taken in an exhibition hall, zoo, or aviary.
Some great possibilities here, wish I could visit location, but need to work on composition.
