2 servers?

hello,

yesterday i installed "ee" successfully.

now i have a question:

i installed the php package to server (a), which
can handle php.

my images i have to store on server (b), which webspace
is much bigger than the one from server (a).

so, does "ee" run under these circumstances???

Yes of course.

EE has a path system which lets you decide on which servers you store each image size.

Just set up both ftp servers and then assign each size path a correct server, http and ftp path. EE will distribute the photos on upload, and create size paths when neccessary.

Thumbnails should be stored on EE's server. You can of course save them externally,too, but due to PHP's restrictions some specific features will show broken thumbs in editor area (does not affect functionality, though).
