my ixy200 problem

my canon ixy200 display E18 in the left bottom on the screen.
but it is the non-warrant product. so what can l do and can anyone know what the means of the E18?

If I remember correctly, the E18 error message means the lens mechanism is jammed.

This link provides a fix, but use it only if your warranty has expired... Be advised that this fix involves an almost complete disassembly of your camera, so if you're not very mechanically inclined maybe you can find someone who is to do it for you.
