How did you like the beach brick and mortar store? Its been a few years since I was up that way, but I bought my Nikon 8008 there.... Decent prices or close to posted retail?

Welcome! I too have the Canon 16-35 F2.8 L lens and just wait till you get used to it. With very few exceptions, I think that you too will be bit by the L bug.

Prices there are hit and miss. I got a good price on it. They honored their advertised web price of $558. I've purchased stuff from them before(Few Lenses, Elan IIe) and I've been satisfied. Sometimes they don't have things out so you can try them though. The store is relatively close to work (Union, NJ) -- so if you need something bad, they are just a lunch hour away. :wink:

hmm, wonder if their web price is the same as magazine advertised price.... I've never heard of a B&M that honors their magazine price, which is something that always drove me INSANE.

May have to ride up there some weekend and check it out.
