My 300 L IS seems to be non stabalising for some reason, ive tried and tested it and from what i remember it could be heard stabalising as well as seeing the image jumping rather than moving around when doing its IS work, The IS switch also seems to rattle a little as if the switch is faulty and something is loose inside it.
This lens has not been roughly treated and is in perfect condition otherwise.
Also anyone heard of this problem before ?

Can anyone recommend a repairer in the UK as it is out of warranty ?

PS, ive emailed to ask for a price guide to repair
