I bought my wife the 60mm EF-S for Xmas and she was excited to use it for the first time at the botanical gardens. We are both newbie photographers and she was excited that I got her a lens better than the kits lens for macro purposes. Here is one interesting shot that she took. I will post more of her shots and I'm sure you will see more of her work as she plays with the lens.

Here are some more added. Let her know how she did. Thanks.

Thanks everyone. She is excited and ready to go out there again. Any tips on how to get a better DOF and focus. She is not use to the lens and a slight movement tends to throw off the focus. Maybe it just takes practice.

Use a tripod or monopod, and change aperature to a higher number.
