After some dismal weather the sum broke through the clouds today and I dodged the showers to get a few shots around a local Perthshire farm.
I am trying to improve my compositional skills and would value all comments and criticism but especially on that aspect. :)

Beautiful country side and shots. I prefer the last two because of the superior composition. #4 is really great. Thanks for sharing.

I love the geometry. #1 would be better for me if the trees were re-aligned to be vertical though - it makes me tilt my head - and therefore dribble! ;)
#3 & #4 my faves.

#1 and #2 are excellent in all regards Mike. #3 almost improved upon #2, I like the addition of the sheep but the foreground and the bottom of the frame is too centered and too cluttered then.
#4 would've been better if that distant tree from the others was included.

Nice series Mike No.1 is excellent, you have walked and worked well to get the comp. spot on in my opinion and nicely exposed considering the range.
Regards Alan.

I love the composition of number 5.
Thank you. Very minimalist for me, that one!

Thank you all. #4 seems to be a success, then? :)

#3 & #4 my faves.
There was no reference horizon in #1 and it was handheld. I think you are right though - looking again, most of the trees seem to lean to the right. :(

Thanks, Dimitri. :)

Thank you. The sheep moved in as I was shooting. They included themselves! #3 was a compromise .......... :( .......... and they rarely work!

Thank you. #1 was an impulse shot taken with the long lens from the road where I had first spotted the potential of the area.
