Hello:
The MarkII looks great, but before I make a decision on the camera, I'd like to get my hands on a raw file from the camera. JPGS downloaded from the Canon site do not make for an accurate assessment of file quality.
I wish Canon & others would allow raw files available for download. Any clue from anyone how I can get my hands on a raw file.
Thanks.

Not a lot of use as there is nothing to process them with yet.

You won't see RAW MKII files (designated .CR2) files until after the firmware is 100% finished and it's been officially released.

Jim:
Do you think there will be a RAW converter available for PS CS that won't cost $99?

Don't know it matters. I hear that people that have seen the Canon software say it's awesome.
We'll see soon enough!

Canon has allready updated the RAW support for CS to include more cameras.. I am "assuming" that they will continue to do so..
And I can pretty much guarantee Phase 1 will include it in Capture 1... as will Breezesys..

They'd be silly not to. Am sure they're all busy now to be ahead of the game when our new babies are delivered.
