Its just down to the way you like it mate.
This is a 'personal' family picture primarily a memory for you, so nobody else can tell you what you like to see.
next time I would try to get the whole of his right arm in though.

Hope you don't mind but I liked the pic so much I was compelled to have a go - I've just been doing some for my next door neighbour of their grandson.
This is my twist on things - love the encrusted crumbs on his hand :lol:

Thanks for your comments, very helpful.
I cropped his right arm (and top of head) deliberately (I will check whether it's better with all of the right arm in).
I like the cropped example and the B&W version (I must experiment with B&W more).
I think the crumbs are actually sand!
