Good choice. I'm not going to say that the N**** is a bad choice, but you now have at your disposal every Canon lens in the arsenol, along with several Sigma and Tamron lenses.

Happy Shooting!

Whoa! Hold on there pal. You start calling pictures/photographs "piccys" like I read on another forum on this board we'll make you stand in the corner.

It's a dSLR, not a digitty!

(remember this is all tongue-in-cheek, but does serve a purpose)

BAH! Kraft Mac n Cheeze is.... well to be honest I'm not sure what it is but it sure isn't food!!

We just got to teach him to shop at Trader Joe's. (http://www.traderjoes.com/locations/search/NEW+YORK.asp)

(I must admit I am seriously deficient in knowledge re: New York. I have no idea if any of the locations are anywhere near NYC.)

When I was scrimping to afford my 10D, I made a LOT of risotto. TJ's arborio rice is about $3 for two pounds compared to $6 / lb at the "regular grocer's" around here. And... risotto's a lot more tasty than that nasty old chemical concoction that Kraft makes.

Combine that with a bottle of Two Buck Chuck and you can dine even as you pinch pennies for new glass.

There are no Trader Joe's in NY. Maybe there was one but it must have went out of business, cause NYers aren't into the health food thing to extent CAlifornians are. I've lived extensively on both coasts, twice on east even, and can say that.

I did like TJ's because they'd rotate all kinds of different beer.
