Far, FAR too grainy, but when I tried to remove it, the image got too blurry. Editing from the original: darkened the background slightly, desaturated somewhat, and added a little bit of a diffusion effect.

Overall, I think it's allright, but the grainyness bothers me a lot. Hence why I'm excited about my Rebel XT I'm getting soon. All the pictures I take with this Fujifilm look like someone spilled an ash tray on them. :P

Anyway, here's the pic, click for larger size:

I like the concept but the IQ of the skin seems quite bad. Congrats on the new XT btw :)

Composition works for me, but I find that the problem is more relating to focus. The jacket looks in focus and the face is soft. Have fun with your new adquisition, and post some pics.

The IQ? If you mean image quality, I agree whole heartedly. Like I said, it came out WAY too grainy. The dulled down colors except for the logo were intentional, though now I'm thinking of pushing the white balance a little more toward the blue end.

Again, totally agree, it started off a little soft, the diffusion effect really didn't help either.

If anyone knows any way to clean it up a bit, I'd love to see it.
