Well, I'm not as good as those on here nor do I have the kind of equipment some you guys have, but I do the best with what I have! :)

I know the background is a little blown out, but keep in mind this is only a Point and Shoot camera!

C&C welcome, just be easy - I'm only a beginner.

Rather like the way this came out - excellent shot. Think I would have preferred a little more space in front of the model though.

Anybody else with comments or critiques?

BTW, there was no PP added to this photo.

Shot with a A620 P&S.

Not a bad shot, don't be put off cos you're only using a P&S, several guys here use a P&S and they get brilliant shots. I'd like a bit more empty space in front of the car as well, plus the top part of the car is blown out. The white of the roof of the car should still be dlineated from the white blackground imho.

I'm new to macro also, but just looking at your shot, I'd suggest turning the power down on your flash if you can ?

Other than that, good attempt.

Agree with Dave, but still a very good shot with a point and shot camera:)

Hey thanks for all the comments guys. Very helpful information. I turned the flash up on the camera only because I get a flash block on the right side of the object due to the adapter. I will have to experiment more to get the right effect.
