number 2 was taken with the 100-400. everything else with the 17-40.

Errr.... Photo No2 need's editing, a dog is having a CR@P!!!!
Minor detail, I suppose! All nice, but, No2 would have been the best otherwise!

If you happen to have another shot at that angle without the dog you could try to put the other shot as a background layer and erase the dog out of this shot.

thanks for the comments so far people, much appreciated, sorry about missing the dog on the corner. I think the fox makes a massive improvement lol :)

My favorite is picture # 3...makes you wonder what--or who--they are talking about, LOL! I swear, it is impossible to get a good photo of hounds at the beginning of a meet--seems like at least one is always taking a dump!!! Maybe you could superimpose another hound on top of the offending one...that is a neat picture of the horse acting up a bit and the rider's reaction.
That netting that looks like its keeping the crowd back is interesting. At our meets, everyone mills all over the place!
