I got within 6 feet of this Retailed Hawk eating his lunch. I took around 50 shots between 50 and 72mm at F4 &1/400. Happy New Years!!

I went to the link and still didn't see the picture. ARRRRRgh! Can't believe you people who get so close to these birds! Makes me NUTS! OK-Now I see it.

Sorry about making you use a link. I prefer posting on Steve’s dew to the 250kb limit size on attachments. :o
Thanks for the kind words; the hawk was eating a mallard Duck.
Dumb luck played a part here today, although I spend several hours a day in the field.

Great shots... The pics are right next to word attachments: At first I didn't see them either... I then clicked on another topic and came back and there they were.. It may take a few seconds to load.. Do a page refresh..
