I had little trouble when i put my canon software on my new laptop with XP installed. The camera worked fine for 2 months and about 15 uploads from the camera to computer. Worked 3 days ago. But tonight, hooked up camera thru USB cable, and fired up the camera...i heard a little ding that indicated that it detected something, but no zoombrowser window opened. if i shut off camera, i hear the ding ding ding that says device disconnected.

But if i open zoombrowser software, says it doesnt see a camera. PLEASE HELP! What should I do? I need to upload some images right away. Thanks. mark

I am using Windows XP Professional but this should apply. Go to Control Panel and choose Scanners and Cameras. Connect your camera and turn it to the Transfer mode. You should see an icon of a camera appear. Right click the mouse and check properties. Click the Events tab and setup the events as desired. I don't use Zoombrowser so you'll have to figure out the rest for yourself.
