can anyone help me identify this Hawk that I shot this afternoon? He looks like he is wearing a barbers apron.

This is picture of a Red-Tailed Hawk. The "barbers apron" is one of the key identification features for this type of hawk. Another one is the red tail, but that isn't visible in this picture. It is a good picture w/ Good Color and Lighting.
Where did you get the Picture? What Lense did you use?

Hi Dbirdman:
Red Tails are pretty common around here, but I have never noticed the apron look before. This photo was taken here in N.E. Oklahoma with a Canon 20D using a
100-400L lens. A more specific location is just East of Bartlesville Oklahoma. Thanks for the help, and the kind words. Larry

Larry,
Never been to Bartlesville, but my Grandparents live there. Must be bigger than I thought. It might be an immature Red-tail, they have horizontal bars on there tail.
thanks for the Camera info I am looking into getting a Digital SLR to replace my Rebel 2000 (film) and it will probably be a 20D or a Rebel XT. David
