Hello all, I just finished rebuilding my light box but this time instead of flimsy craft wood pieces that snap if your not careful I went with 3/4 inch PVC pipe. I just wanted to share my results and semi-cheezy design:

Edited and left the two best from the quick shoot I did with it.
Comments and thoughts welcome...

I shot these with the Canon 24-70mm, I lit the box with my 580 EX shot at an angle onto the top of the box.

What material did you use for the white diffusion panel?

Just plain posterboard paper from a craft store, works great.

damn, the PVC pipe was an excellent idea, so much better than the crappy thick cardboard stuff I used.

No point in selling them, you can make it yourself on the cheap to fit your needs. Just go to Home Depot/Lowes or similar store, buy a similar size of PVC pipe and fittings along with PVC glue and then make a box, glue joints and fix posterboard to the sides. I also had 4 screws drilled into the inside to affix the paper but any method of affixing it will work decently, this one just allows me to easily insert other color papers. It is really quite simple and works well. You can make the box as big as you want so long as you can find paper big enough to fit inside of it.
I believe there is an in depth tutorial on how to make something just like this out there on PBASE or something if you need exacts and can't just wing it.
