First post here.
I go back to the days of the AE1  .
Anyway I am now getting interested in Digital photography and have EOS lenses. I will probably end up getting a digital Rebel eventually.
I have sitting packed up and original hardly used Daylab and Jobo processor.
My question is . Does this stuff have any resale value ? My wife says just chuck it. I have over $1200.00 in 1980's dollars in this darkroom epuipment and would like to get something for it if possible.

It still has some value, best bet is to try ebay or contact a local school & see if they are willing to purchase it. If not donate it for the write off

Yeah, try eBay first. You may also want to consider selling it to a pro dealer, such as KEH in Atlanta (www.keh.com). They are very reputable and will pay you approximately 50-60% of what it's worth to them. You get your money immediately. Their grading and estimating is quite conservative, which is good for buyers, since you get stuff that is in your eyes excellent, but what they would consider "good". But for sellers, this can be a slight problem. Check them out.

You could even locate some local photography clubs and let them know you have darkroom goodies up for grabs, they may have members who need some equipment, or may lead you to an outlet for it.
Only toss it after you can't even give it away. Some photographer out there is likely getting into photography and (though they may not be able to afford the stuff new) would really like to have it at a reasonable cost.
It really would be a shame to toss it.
