New Canon 1oD ?

Hi,

I would like to buy a Canon 10d. But i have heard, that in the near future a new Canon 10 d will come on the market.

Did you hear something about that?

Should i wait or buy now?

there was a replacement for the old 1D but so far nothing sure about the new version of 10D. rumors but nothiung sure. if Nikon does not come out with some real competitive model or drop the price (D70 and D100), 10D will be THE 10D. why replace a working model?
but you never know.
my opinion, get your 10D (if you find one, US $1400-1500), newer model even if it's out , will be more for renewing name but not much in features, especailly not less thant 1.6 factor, which I consider the main improvement to go for.

I have noticed a lot more 1D's and 10D's popping up on (German) eBay recently ... also used ones, that were scarce before.

I think that as soom as the 1D Mark II hits the street, there will be some used 1D's and 10D's available.

If *I* were in the market for a 10D at the moment (which I am not, as I have decided to wait until the end of the year) and I did not *really* need it immediately, I'd rather wait for a month and try to get a good deal.

2 months ago, this would just have been a ludicrous idea, as there were hardly any 10D's available at all.
