I like the DOF available on this lens, Used the extreme here to bring attention to my puppys expression.

That is just too cute!!!!. I would think the 1.4 and 1.8 would give very similair DOF's.

Or a ROT wanna-be.. This is a Jack Russell Terrier, who thinks hes a tough Rottweiler.. But hes not.....
Taken with a 1.3MP Sony Mavica... My new Digital Rebel is coming tomorrow, so I will have a new toy to take pics of my new puppy.
