In a recent ebay auction, I puchase a f1.4 15.25mm lens with no shutter. Taping it to about 115mm of extension tubes, I went exploring. I tested it by focusing in on a tiny cactus areola and radiating spines. I estimate the magnification to be about 7:1 and I estimate the subject to be 3mm.
