This isn't the mobile system, this is the system with a small dish on your house. We live in the country and don't have access to cable or DSL. We have used Direcway and are now using Wild Blue Satellite. We found out we are close enough to get Sprint Broadband. The sat systems are definitely better than dial up but photo downloads, ftp and viewing large files are time consuming. I am hoping Sprint will make this faster. The price is $39/mo, WildBlue is $69. Just wondering if anyone here uses Sprint and if so how it works for you.

Are you talking about an air card(over cell network) or something other than that. I have heard good things about the air cards but have never used it.

No not the aircard, this is residential service. A small triangle dish on the house connected to a modem in the house then a router if needed. I'm not sure if the dish communicates with the same network as the air card or not...this is a 'line of sight', tower based system. I can't find any recent reviews on the web, everything I have found was refering to the test areas from 2000/2001. My wife likes internet gaming (WOW). She is hoping this will be better than traditional sat links we have been using.
