posted a couple of shots a while back which I took as part of a high key project for my hnd. Here is one from another set I took recently for that project. As I said in the title, I'm a beginner so C&C most welcome.

Heyya!

I am a studio beginner as well, so take my remarks lightly. I like how seperate she is from the background, and how white it looks; looks very good. About the pose; I am no expert, I am sure someone will chime in on that in due time, but very good effort for a beginner!

Thanks for the comments so far. lighting set up was softbox over head slightly offset to the left and two spotlights (one left and one right) at 45 degrees facing rear wall. All lights at full power. I'm still on break from college but when I get back Ill get the makes of the lights etc. Shot using 350d with 17-40L at 1/60 f22. post processing done on models skin and also to brighten background a little (though original was quite bright as it was).

Nice shot. It's probably only me but I'd have liked the model to have filled up the frame just a bit more - just a little. She has a great expression on her face and it would have been neat to see it a bit more! Great work keeping the b/g white too. :-)

I offset her in the frame cos I had my graphic design head on and thought that i could eventually encoporate some text and/or graphics within that "negative" space.
