For some strange reason my PC has suddenly started to report "Could not open the TWAIN source. Make sure there is a valid source for your scanner in the TWAIN directory dound in the Windows directory." when attempting to import from my G2 into Photoshop.

Up until now I have never had any problems with the G2, Photoshop, the WIA USB driver and Windows XP. The camera is recognised by Windows and I can import JPEG files via the Scanner and Camera Wizard,

Unfortunately most of my recent holiday images are in RAW format requiring them to be imported and converted within Photoshop.

Any suggestions? Please!

Barry

I was going to answer this until I saw your tagline!

Oh, all right! - This happens every now and then. What you need to do is to completely remove all traces of the driver using the relevant procedure on pages 29-34 of the Software Starter Guide, and then re-install. Do be sure to follow the sequence in the manual exactly because you might end up with the same driver problems if you dont.

Also a quick Google search showed that there is some info on Canon's Singapore website:
http://www.canon.com.sg/digitalcamera/xpdrivers/

But then I would have thought that you ought to be an expert on drivers!!
