Wow,

That is a beautiful sea. Those waves are magnificent.

BUT -

The pictures are boring. There is nothing going on in the forground. The sand (just the sand) makes a lousy counterpart to the power of the waves.

Take a look at this post that was just put up by GrizlyBear: http://www.photosig.com/go/photos/view?id=1161828

Now try to imaging how stunning your waves would look in his composition! Or, even if you don't have a point like he does, what about the waves crashing on rocks, or something anything other than just plain sand! See, waves - by thier nature - have power. I want to see the effect of that power on something.

Good effort, running down there while the waves were like that, now for next time, try to find something more to look at.

Waves are nice, rocks are nice. I dont think that the posture of the people has enough "respect" for the power of the waves. Looks a little more like "EEEK! A Mouse!"

But, you see what I mean by more than just the waves going on.

Agree with others posts but also on No.1 the horizon isn't level. on No.2 the highlights are blown and on all three the photo is split in two by the horizon being dead centre.

Could you have taken them looking more along the beach to give a stronger diagonal

Great waves though.

Sorry, I don't agree. I like all three even with the technical errors.

I saw those pictures and I could already hear the noise and taste the salt in the air. That to me means they work.

Cheers

I really like the colours in no 3 but, like Radtech1, I think it needs some foreground interest to make it a spectacular shot. A shell, some interesting seaweed or rocks, anything like that would make all the difference.

"EEEK! A Mouse!"

LOL, that's exactly what I thought the MAN on the picture feels.

Also, I think the first three photos are good, they leave you with an impression of the beach - no need for other compositional stunts there...
