Though I love the DRebel, I miss the small 'carry anywhere, any time' form factor. I had an A40 but sold it to finance a G3, and sold that to finance a Digital Rebel. So I went to the store hoping to find an old A40 or S30; something small and inexpensive.

They didn't have anything that old, but they did have a SD100 on return. It was missing the manuals and they had to sell it as used. There wasn't a mark on it and I got it for about $90US less than the new units, and they tossed in a 64Mb SD card.

Right place, right time.

I love this little camera! I took it skiing with the kids this weekend and it took some great pictueres. Right now I'm looking at an 8x10 I printed from this camera. It was cropped so that the PPI was around 190. From more than 18 inches away it looks just as good as those taken with my DRebel. Sure, it's very much a point and shoot, and the 2x zoom isn't much, but my intent was for a 'pocket-able' camera for documenting family outings and the like. If I want to be creative or need reach, I'll bring the Drebel.

Two thumbs up!

Just thougt I'd post my thoughts in the event someone does a search on this camera.
