Here are a few shots i took last night with my girlfriend, i know there not perfect but im slowly getting better. C & C welcome. I hope you like them!

Really great shots!

i find them to be "ever so slightly" harsh on the lighting. some areas of her face are blown out a bit. I actually like the tighter crops on the few, and the poses are nice!

I like 3 and 4, more natural poses I think, pretty model.

The lighting was an issue, i had to use a table lamp and some A4 white paper as a reflector, i couldend find a way of deffusing the light. i either cut the light out compleatly or would be in danger of burning the house down using paper.
Im saving for a flash set though im going to wait till i start uni in september so i know what im looking for in a setup.

the whites of the eyes look overdone for some reason.

They have had no special treatment, i have sharpened and added a little contrast to the picture as a whole.
Is there any thing i can do to combat this?
