I'd sell my 70-200 f/4. I shoot sports, and it's a real dog for low light shooting.

I gave up smoking and drinking to save for a 300 F2.8L IS. Four months left @ $400./ month

Well, I was going to sell a car, but I decided to donate it to charity instead, so I'll have to think of something else to sell.

Funny you should ask! I'm getting ready to put a Panerai watch I own up for sale to fund a few camera purchases. Don't know what I'll buy, but I'm sure I'll figure it out in February.

You will not be dissappointed, get it keep it and enjoy it, and take no notice of any negative comments about it.

Gee it looks like the cure to smoking and drinking was under our noses the whole time! Nice to hear some are using their photography to beat some adictions.

With my bike money I'm hoping to get, the replacement to the 30D, 35mm 1.4L, and 10-20mm sigma. I might be expecting a little much but oh well :)

Have you looked at the Sigma 120-300 F2.8EX? I realise that there is no IS on it, but it's worth it, IMHO. Been happy with my copy since Sept, 03. Just a thought.

Back when I got into photography a bit more seriously I sold a good varmint rifle and a shotgun to buy a camera - Praktica. Wish I had that rifle...
