I just had a chance to test my new first L lens this weekend at my brothers farm.
He just got a baby Rottwieler that is so cute that I had to take some pictures. Unfortunately he was inside, and I didnt have my 420ex, so I had to use ISO800 (or the internal flash).

Just wondering, when most people here use C1 (Pro) for Raw, do you tend to stick with "Film Standard" in exposure settings?
I tend to be in the habit of wanting to preserve highlihts and shadows (and will often use the "Film Extra Shadow" or "Linear" setting), and sometimes I wonder if this takes the "ooomph" out of the pictures.

Anybody have any thoughts about this
