For those of you that have tried this with the 10D, how do you folks like it? It seems awfully tempting considering the size. I havent yet recieved my 10D and I'm still debating on which type of memory to purchase. I saw that it has a really slow write speed, does that factor ever an issue with that being your everyday shooting memory? thanks

I haven't tried it yet,. according to Buy.com I should have my drive in Fall of 2012!
But,. I do know it will work in the 10D,. but I also know that the 10D and the 4GB don't exactly have a love affair going. It is dirt slow in the 10D apperently :(
If I EVER get my drive,. I'll post again. :(

I saw this on fatwallet a while ago, guess people snatching them up like crazy. I'll keep an eye out for your post on the drive.

Putting all your eggs in one basket it seems to me.
Even the Canon Rep. at the Focus show (UK) last Sunday recommended lots of smaller CF cards rather than trusting to the really large ones. And he was showing off the 1DMkII at the time.
Also note that microdrives are more likely to fail than CF cards - mechanical against solid-state.
