Just like to share 2 shots of the city I live in.
#1 - KL skyline (incl. KLCC / Petronas Twin Towers) from Thean Hou Temple

#2 - KLCC / Petronas Twin Towers from Titiwangsa Park

Uhh, most pics of the Twin Towers show them in their humongous proportions. Mine downplay their size. Here's some pics posted by another member andysgriff showing them huge:

Wow. That second shot is great. I really like the way you've framed the towers with the branches and the warm glow is lovely. Fantastic.

Those towers are amazing and I like how you've presented them in the second shot. The colors and composition are terrific!

Its not a matter of work or not,but when you compaire the 2 the 2nd one wins.
Hence the reason i never post 2 pictures together, unless i need some comparison.
The first one has its good point also, like the match between the old and new.

Looks to be a beautiful clear day in the first shot and I like the bamboo roof tops as your FG.

condyk, when were you in KL?
It would have been around Jan/Feb 2001. We didn't intend being there long but I needed a rest break after a very tiring few months in Southern India and Sri Lanka and then a terrible two week bout of food poisoning in Singapore over the Christmas and leading to the millenium. We stayed at the Concorde Hotel which is about a 5-10 minute walk from the Towers. Still the best hotel I have ever stayed at and was on crazy cheap special at the time. I spent the time recovering there around the pool but we also had a great several days of sight-seeing in the city, went to the Batu Caves, bird park and also followed the Thaipusam Festival for many miles. Amazing experience and one the things that I'll never forget from my many travels. I enjoyed Malaysia a great deal.

Frank, Sara, thanks for your kind comments.
Condyk, glad to here you enjoyed your stay here. Did they let you in at the Hard Rock Cafe back then? If you're still a teenager on glue now, you must have been underaged then - hahaha joking only. But seriously might you consider coming back again?
