UPDATE - From Broadway Photo...

I received my Digital Rebel today, it was perfect.. everything was there. Canon box, all instructions (real not photocopies), battery, charger, lens, strap, registration cards, software, all in a sealed NEW box.

I am charging the battery as I write this to test it.....

Looks good so far.....


I am ready to start shooting.....

Charged the battery and took some shots, but I am in the middle of watching LORD of the RINGS (Return of the King).. After which I will download an image and let you all tell me what a horrid photographer I am....

Thanks again to everyone for their support and info to help me, i truly appreciate it.

I do that several times a day. I suppose the effect is somewhat diminished by the fact that I'm 3,000 miles away. Nonetheless, it's the thought that counts.

Anyone got a match?

Great I bought my first d30 from Broadwqay and all went well with that camera. I also bought a 2nd 1D from addorama same thing great never had a problem other than nver enough time to take all the photos that I want

Anyway here is a photo I took today of my little girl, I know my photographic skills need to be honed but I just wanted to show everyone that I at least know how to turn the camera on.... LOL

Cool you got the camera! I was really worried and was like oh, no are you gonna get it? In the future for the sanity of those of us on the forum, do not order from them again! Please order from an established company like B&H and a few others. I ordered the 10D from RitzCamera and they don't know much, but if you lay it down what you want and nothing more it seems like you will be ok. That was the case when I ordered and got my 10D. This was almost a year ago too. I have since gone to B&H exclusively.

She is daddy's little girl, she is such a camera hog, I know I have a subject to practice with. But, too bad she is sick, bad cold... but shes never to sick to smile for a camera...

I couldnt afford the color CF card...next week....
